(In Bryan's own words:) Here is the story if you missed it: I raced the TurboVan at Raceway Park in the spectator race, consisting of a single lap against one other street driven car on a 1/4 mile banked asphalt track. Start from a stop and 1st one to the finish line wins. A total of 24 entrants. If you lose, you go home. If you win, you race again. 24 cars: 1st race was vs. a 1995 Chevy Beretta. I did not expect the green light so soon, as the race official was just stepping off the track. Well the light went green, the Beretta took off and I figured I better too. I ended up catching him in the last 100 feet, dang close, but the TrboVan prevailed. The Beretta thought he won, you should have seen his face when they had to knock on his window to tell him to leave! Classic. 12 cars: 2nd race was vs. a 1974 Plymouth Duster. I smoked the tires on the launch for way too long. Even the announcer said something about it. Then he mentions to the crowd to have a look at my baby seat in the back. Yep took the whole family to the races in the TrboVan, I mean why not, it has its full interior! I won by 3 or 4 car (I mean van) lengths. 6 cars: 3rd race was vs. a 1999 Chevy S-10 Extreme. Close, but no cigar for the Extreme. I won another by a few lengths. Announcer says "I have never seen this before". 3 cars: 4th race was vs. a Plymouth Laser Turbo (license plate reads "1QUICK4"). He runs a 14.2 at the strip, so I knew I was in for trouble, he smoked me after the 1st turn. I figured I ended up in 3rd place, losing to the ultimate winner after 4 rounds. Oh well, it was fun and the TrboVan really isn't too bad in the corners. Please repeat after me "rear sway bar, rear sway bar, rear sway bar!" -Bryan
